    Intersections, Collisions and Tangents

In any moment The sum of it – expressed, does fine But were the whole of it Present Known Accounted for. There is not one who would come along To such an eclectic mix of opposing views as mine. Ultimate freedom Total responsibility The depth and breadth of it. Take no prisoners Leave everyone whole As if you had that choice, ever. As if they were whole when you found them. Nonetheless, you move through it all as openly as honestly as it is possible to be.

    Jeff Walker’s Moleskine Journals

As someone who has boxes and boxes of journals in storage units, closets and attics, I was actually quite surprised to discover there was an actual type of journal I had never heard of before. Jeff Walker’s “Moleskine” Journal.  Hmmm. Who knew? I’ve used the typical hard cover spiral bound journal for years because they will open flat or even inside out (if you know what I mean) so I can write in pretty much any situation I find myself… but Moleskin?  I mean, the first thing I thought was “ew, it’s made of animal fur? Damn must need lots of moles to make one journal. They’re not exactly large…

    The Perfect Frustration

The idea formed, complete. As if it stood there, before me, whole. No part was missing. How to express and where. What it would mean and why. There was no part of it unassembled, unanswered, unknown. And then…  unraveled. Like so much spun cloth on a wheel. no longer together. As I tried To put it back together again. So much silk thread loose in the world. How do you help anyone understand what is before them When they cannot see it? How do you help anyone see what is, by virtue of their camouflage world, invisible to them? And if you can does it matter? Or is it beyond…

    Cannon Fodder

How is it that we; most sentient/conscious of beings, are willing in all our glory to exonerate and uphold a system whereby, for  any of us to take anther’s life would be a crime of the highest order,  and yet; we as members of Nation/States will condone such behavior among Nations such that our own offspring are the cannon fodder for our communal Nation/State aggressions? How is it that we; such peaceable and life supporting individual beings did find ourselves here, at the mercy of such a Nation/State system which would allow us to choose such sacrificed as this? Where our examples are Prince William and Charles – or whomever;…

Parenting: Free Free Set Them Free!

By today’s modern western standards, I was a terrible parent. I was self involved. I was busy. I was one person dealing with four offspring with no partner for nearly a decade. Neglect? Normal. Forget about it. On the other hand I was a very good parent. I read to my kids every night, or as close as we could come, even well after they could read for themselves. In later years, they have read to me. The payback is quite worth it! Listening to Thomas reading Harry Potter by the fire at Lake Almanore some years back was one of the highlights of my living experience… So, yes. Some…

Amory Lovins – I’ve Been a Fan for More Than 20 Years Now… Here’s Why

Amory Lovins, who wrote a plan for Hawaii some four decades ago now, that outlined how the state could reduce it’s energy/oil/electric generation requirements enought to offset future growth for a few decades simply by implementing conservation systems (at less cost to implement than the *(then) current price of energy production.) Ah – but did they do it? Hell no… They paid for the study and moved on. As most government bureacracies do… Roll back in tine. To before the devastating events of 2008. To before the automobile industry crisis. To before the current mess we are in, and here he is again, telling us how easy it is to…

    Needs Doing

I’ve stood on the shores of time and watched as the waves rolled in one behind another. Over a lifetime, I’ve seen the ebb and flow. The come and go. Watched language turn in and back on itself Through vortices of ideals, theory and rhetoric Bemused, I find myself tonight contemplating the phrase “We are a Nation of laws.” Oh How that meaning’s changed! From right wing radical to progressive idealist Spinning like a top through the hours days years Until we find ourselves… Here! Where it seems, no law has quite the power enough to do what it is needs doing.

It’s an Evolutionary Process, is all…

They dealt the cards around the table Each to each, as it was. I picked up my “curses”, “monsters”, “classes” and “species” grasping at the play of the game… and wondered what it was I was to do With this odd assortment of clerics, cheats, wizards and blessings… Observing, as Tom and Malcolm drew me in In to strategy and tactic almost before I understood – character and motive; I fumbled and made a valiant attempt To learn, incorporate integrate and inter act in something so new I was spellbound, and inept. I know this purely because, when at last I managed to solicit some help – as was expected…

Nassim Haramein – A New World View Emerging

Over the last few months we’ve been reading about and watching the videos of Nassim Haramein, founder of the Resonance Project on the Big Island of Hawaii. Nassim is a physicist, phylosopher and general renaissance man of the modern age – and no doubt there are plenty of people in the physics community who find him to be completely “over the top” and “out there”… From crop circles to black holes, vortices to tetrahedrons, ancient civilizations to the movement and nature of galaxies and the universe, his ideas are both brilliant and highly challenging to the average Newtonian or even Einstein influenced scientists of today. They’ve led us to hours…

There is a Power Object in my Living Room

There is a power object in my living room. It is unassuming enough – Soft patterned muted tones in wide blended strips browns and soft beiges Folded neatly. Set upon the upper left arm of the couch. It eminates People and animals are drawn to it… They nuzzle it – draw it up around them- Yet, for all this interaction from people to pets and back again it retains It’s own particular scent which never changes It’s own particular feel which never alters It’s own particular specific essence of soothing well being It landed in my hands when my brother tossed it to me and said “then thee take this…
